  STACY MIDDLE SCHOOL

                                                         

Stacy Middle School is located in the town of Milford, Massachusetts and houses 963 students in grade 5-7. The facility was built in 1900 and served as Milford High School. It was renovated in 1934-1935 and then again in 1995, when it became Stacy Middle School. There is a second middle school in the community which houses Grade 8. 

While primarily Caucasian with a Hispanic sector, the ethnic diversity is expanding and changing with an increase in Brazilian, Ecuadorian, Egyptian, and Southeast Asian populations.   The school provides communications in Spanish and Portuguese as well as English and makes provision for other languages as needed.

The school makes use of a variety of groupings to ensure that each student’s needs are met. Mrs. Nancy Angelini, principal, says that the school’s success flows from this question which is constantly asked by faculty and administration: “What do we need to do as a team to put in the right supports so that all students find excellence at the level they can achieve it?”
