Candidacy for Accreditation

A school seeking affiliation with the Committee on Public Elementary and Middle Schools within the Commission of Public Schools must complete an Application for Candidacy and related questions form and submit it to the Commission office. The school must have been in operation for at least one complete school year. Once the application has been submitted, a NEASC staff liaison will contact the school to discuss next steps.

Decennial Accreditation

Every ten years an accredited school must host a decennial visit. An Application for Accreditation must be completed and returned to the Commission office.  Once the Commission office processes the application, the prinicpal will be notified of the scheduled visiting team dates.  

NOTE: For schools with upcoming decennial visits, choose the application link in the menu that corresponds with the visit year. 

Initial Accreditation

The Decennial Accreditation Application is to be used for initial accreditation.
