For Team Members
If you received an invitation to serve on a visiting committee and are willing to accept the role of a team member please complete the questionnaire (link below) and mail or fax as soon as possible to the person whose name/contact information appears on page one.
Also, upon receiving your acceptance to volunteer to serve on a visiting committee the Commission will mail you a pamphlet, The Visiting Committee Experience (link to left sidebar), outlining the entire visiting committee experience. About one month prior to the visit, your team chair will contact you regarding the specifics of the visit and the sections of the school’s self-study that you are asked to study/review. The school will also be forwarding directions to the school and hotel, copies of its self-study document, and other relevant information.
Upon arrival at the hotel on Sunday, the team chair will conduct a very important orientation session with team members. Your careful review of the pamphlet from the Commission office, in addition to the school’s self-study will be your best preparation for this orientation session and will greatly assist the chair! Also, do not forget to record you mileage on Sunday as you will be reimbursed. All other expenses will be paid for by the host school. Enclosed with your invitation was an information sheet regarding CEU’s and PDP’s for the New England states.
