Follow-Up
The Follow-Up phase of the process is the opportunity to actualize the results of the self study and visiting committee report. There is no definite beginning to the process. It can occur concurrently with the self study; it may commence after the completion of the self study or after the Visiting Committee's Report; or, indeed, it may be intricately woven into the entire assessment and planning process. Nonetheless, it is an essential component of the three phase tool for improvement and a requirement for continued status as an accredited school. Interim reports are due the Commission at various intervals during the follow-up phase. Recommendations imbedded in the Visiting Committee Report, as well as from the Commission itself, form the basis for the types and amount of reporting necessary from the school. It is the expectation of the Commission that all recommendations be addressed and, in most cases, resolved, within a five year period following the peer review visit.
