Middle Level Self Study Guide

The primary document to be used during the period of self-study is the guidebook entitled An Investment in the Future. This book contains the Standards for Accreditation as well as the indicators that schools use to assess their adherence to those standards. Each section is comprised of several specific questions pertaining to the indicators as a means for schools to identify and judge their strengths and needs. The school's responses to these questions act as evidence of whether or not the school is meeting, not meeting, or exceeding the Standards. The completed document becomes the primary resource for the visiting committee.
