Early Childhood Standards

The Commission on Public Elementary and Middle Schools has adopted the CT PLUS standards as the basis for Early Childhood Program accreditation in New England. A process is currently in place with the state of Connecticut to update the CT PLUS standards, and the Commission on Public Elementary and Middle Schools is developing accreditation processes specifically designed for pre-school programming. The anticipated date of implementation is Fall 2008.
